Top Latinas and the Adelante movement

The Adelante movement which aims to set up, begin, maintain, expand, and power the small businesses in Latina, is led by Nely Galán. It is a partnership between the Adalente Movement, which is founded by Nely Galan and Coca-Cola and the US SBA or Small Business Administration. Other significant people such as Maria Contreras-Sweet, head of the American Small Business Administration who was also the member of President Obama's Cabinet, are also part of the movement.

It works on the concept that Empowering latina women will co-work with the government, to have a common goal which will aim at making the women in Latina as the top contributors in the growing economy of U.S.A. For achieving this, it has been planned that the women in Latina will be given training, resources, important information that is needed, and all kind of required support which is crucial to make the Latina women become successful entrepreneurs.

As per Nely Galan, it was important to reach out to Latinas, which has a lot of hidden and potential talent. Contreras-Sweet adds that Latinas is a powerful region and the Adelante Movement will surely benefit the people of Latinas and the American economy. The movement aims to create more jobs opportunities, affect the lives of millions, and improve their standard of living.

As per the data, there are around 9 Lac Latina entrepreneurs already and many more are going to be added in the list to become the fastest growing segments of small business startups. Still, there are a lot of Latina women who are not aware of the huge business opportunities, and are not able to emerge as successful business entrepreneurs due to the lack of knowledge and support. This is why The Adelante Movement has been conceived to help these people with training programs and resources so that they succeed.

Coca-Cola captures the tour for Top Latinas Economic empowerment which has brought together the top Latinas to motivate them to begin their start up and establish their business. The Latinas women are offered the financial support like government contracts, business capital, franchises, employment for themselves and their family, start-up funding, other entrepreneurial opportunities, mentorship, and corporate contracts so that they can create their own wealth and flourish themselves. It also aims to bring affluence for their families and the entire society. The Adelante Movement empowers the women via digital platform. The forums that happen nationally in coordination with non-profit organizations are captured live. The Adelante dreams to be heard by politicians and seeks the support of many more influential people of the America, when it unites the Latinas socially, economically and politically.
