Top Latinas and the Adelante movement
The Adelante movement which aims to set up, begin, maintain, expand, and power the small businesses in Latina, is led by Nely Galán. It is a partnership between the Adalente Movement, which is founded by Nely Galan and Coca-Cola and the US SBA or Small Business Administration. Other significant people such as Maria Contreras-Sweet, head of the American Small Business Administration who was also the member of President Obama's Cabinet, are also part of the movement. It works on the concept that Empowering latina women will co-work with the government, to have a common goal which will aim at making the women in Latina as the top contributors in the growing economy of U.S.A. For achieving this, it has been planned that the women in Latina will be given training, resources, important information that is needed, and all kind of required support which is crucial to make the Latina women become successful entrepreneurs.
